Dock alternatives

Last updated 18 August 2026

We build ValueRamp, and it is one of the options below. Other tools win categories here. Every price came from that vendor’s own page on 18 August 2026.

Why do teams look for Dock alternatives?

Usually because Dock is built for the buying process, and the team needs something built for what happens after the deal closes.

Dock describes itself as an AI revenue enablement platform, and its centre of gravity is the digital sales room: buyer collaboration, content and enablement. Onboarding is one use case rather than the product’s purpose, so a customer success team that adopted it for onboarding often finds the account-side concepts — renewal date, health, churn risk — are simply not there.

Price is the other reason. Dock’s free plan is genuinely usable at small scale, but the paid Standard tier is $350 a month, which is a real step up for a small team. Both checked on dock.us/pricing, 18 August 2026.

ValueRampBuilt entirely for after the deal closes: onboarding, adoption, renewal, churn and win-back on one account record, with a customer-facing portal. Cheaper than Dock's paid tier at $100 a month for up to 5 users — but there is no free plan and no sales-room capability at all. Compare

Onboard.ioIf you used Dock purely to run onboarding, Onboard.io does that job specifically, from $25 a month on Starter. It has no sales-room or enablement side. Compare

ArrowsThe closest match to Dock’s combination of sales rooms and onboarding, with native HubSpot and Salesforce apps. It does not publish pricing. Compare

GUIDEcxThe option if onboarding is a real delivery function with a team behind it rather than a buyer-collaboration artefact. Does not publish pricing. Compare

Summary

If you need the pre-sale deal room, no alternative here matches Dock. If you need what happens after the deal closes, ValueRamp is built only for that.

Dock spans both sides of the close, and its strongest part is the earlier one. That is worth being clear about: if sales rooms and a content library are why you bought it, switching to a post-sales tool loses the thing you were paying for.

The teams who do move usually adopted Dock for onboarding and then hit the limits of a product that models the buying process rather than the customer. ValueRamp is the opposite trade — it does nothing before the close, and everything after it, at $100 a month for up to 5 users.

Where ValueRamp falls short

Two things to know

ValueRamp has no free tier and nothing before the close, and it is early.

No sales rooms, no content library, no free plan. Dock’s free tier is a real advantage at the smallest scale and ValueRamp has no answer to it. Nor does ValueRamp touch the buying process — it starts at the handoff.

No published case studies yet. ValueRamp is new, so there are none to publish. What exists instead is a Design Partner Program: the first 20 companies use ValueRamp free for a year and shape what gets built.

Common questions

Is there a free Dock alternative?

Not among the purpose-built onboarding tools listed here — Dock’s free plan is unusual in this category. Onboard.io’s $25 Starter tier is the cheapest paid entry point of the alternatives.

How much does Dock cost?

Dock publishes a free plan, Standard at $350 a month, Premium at $1,000 a month billed annually, and a custom Enterprise tier. Checked on dock.us/pricing, 18 August 2026.

Which Dock alternative covers renewals and churn?

ValueRamp, of the ones listed here. Dock and most of its alternatives stop at onboarding or before; ValueRamp models the account through onboarding, adoption, renewal, churn and post-churn.

What replaces Dock’s sales rooms?

Arrows is the closest, combining sales rooms with onboarding inside HubSpot and Salesforce. ValueRamp does not do sales rooms at all.

Can I try ValueRamp before paying?

Yes — the first 20 companies join as design partners and use ValueRamp free for a year, on real accounts, with onboarding run by the founder.
