Totango alternatives

Last updated 23 September 2026

We build ValueRamp, and it is one of the options below. Other tools win categories here. Every price came from that vendor’s own page on 23 September 2026.

Why do teams look for Totango alternatives?

Because Totango is changing. It has rebranded as Odie and rebuilt around AI agents, and a change that size is when teams check their options.

On 23 September 2026 totango.com read “Totango is now Odie: customer intelligence for post-sales teams and their agents”, and its old pricing page returned “Not Found”. Odie centres on a customer knowledge engine that your own AI agents can query, with an optional customer success workspace on top.

Odie publishes its prices: the knowledge engine from $500 a month and the workspace from $1,500 a month, with annual terms at minimum — no month-to-month. If you are a Totango customer, ask Totango what the change means for your contract before you decide anything.

Summary

If Totango's move to Odie is not the direction you want, ValueRamp is the published-price option for a small team, from $249 a month; Gainsight and Planhat are the enterprise options, and neither publishes a price.

The split is what you want next. If AI customer intelligence feeding your own agents is the goal, Odie is built for exactly that, and staying is reasonable.

If you want a customer success workspace your team runs the lifecycle in, ValueRamp does that at $249 a month on Starter, priced on the ARR you manage, published on the pricing page. The head-to-head is at ValueRamp vs Totango.

Where ValueRamp falls short

Two things to know

ValueRamp is not an AI knowledge engine, and it is early.

No knowledge engine for your own agents. ValueRamp has its own AI assistant, Vali, inside the product; it does not serve a customer knowledge graph to other agents over MCP, which is the centre of what Odie sells.

No published case studies yet. ValueRamp is new, so there are none to publish. What exists instead is a Design Partner Program: the first 10 companies use ValueRamp free for a year and shape what gets built.

Common questions

Is Totango now Odie?

Yes, by its own site: on 23 September 2026 totango.com read "Totango is now Odie: customer intelligence for post-sales teams and their agents". Its Totango, Catalyst and Odie products are all linked from there.

How much does Odie cost?

Odie’s pricing page lists the Customer Knowledge Engine from $500 a month and the Customer Operating System from $1,500 a month, with annual terms at minimum — no month-to-month — checked on heyodie.ai/pricing 23 September 2026.

What is the best Totango alternative for a small team?

ValueRamp, from $249 a month on Starter with 3 CSM/Admin seats and unlimited Onboarding Manager, Finance and customer seats — billed annually, like Odie.

Does ValueRamp cover renewals like Totango?

Yes. ValueRamp models an account through five phases — onboarding, adoption, renewal, churn and post-churn — so the record that ran onboarding is the one answering renewal questions later.

Can I try ValueRamp before paying?

Yes — the first 10 companies join as design partners and use ValueRamp free for a year, on real accounts, with onboarding run by the founder.
